Dave Fox had worked for Lindsey Perrie for a few years before heading out on his own. Once Dave established his own fiberglass business, Bud Bender began having his skiffs laid up by Dave Fox, AKA (Foxy) to his friends. Glory Days was laid up with fiberglass and Kevlar by Dave while Bob Russo owned Bud's 3RD Gen. molds. Glory Days was raced by Bob in the APBA for a short while as JS-30, The Boss.
The design of the 3RD Gen. was purely Bud Bender's design, (Idea). Bud & Foxy worked plenty of long nights together at Foxy's shop to build a plug, which later became JS-2, Black Magic, Dave's racing skiff with the ECBRC.. From that plug came the 3RD Gen Bender mold, the one presently owned by Jeff LaMarco, along with the newest deck & hood molds.

The boat was purchased early in 2004 by Phil Jordan. It has been refurbished by Roger Harris of Flyin High Racing.  Currently scheduled to be be completed in March 2005.

Phil and Jean Jordan have been having fun running (and polishing) Glory Days since March 2005.

Claire & Marty purchased Glory Days June 2007 from Phil & Jean Jordan.

Brix & Lucy decided to eliminate the horsepower robbing cam and belt driven water pump systems. A water puppy pump pushing 6 gpm from Defender for $124.00 and some fittings satisfied them. While the boat is idling you turn the pump on and the check valve closes and forces the water thru the engine. Once on plane, shut the pump off and the water is forced thru the check valve and thru the motor.

This is the system I've used successfully on my former boats, now Glory Days has the system. Questions?
