This is the skiff I bought in NJ back in 1986, from Haas (formally named Satan's Machine), I believe it ran as a river boat… it had a red vinyl covered deck. I brought the boat back home to TN and put a mild 283 in it with a paragon tranny and a water pump that ran off the forward end of the engine.

I put on a new mahogany ply deck, with a removable front cockpit plug….. also changed the cav plate to make it adjustable….I ran a 3-blade 11inD prop…I was told it was a Bender when I picked up the hull.

The name that was on the boat (but had been removed) was Satan’s Machine. I think the number then was JS666, there was no curse on her as she ran all over the lakes here and in Savanna GA for a summer… I sold her 3 years later to Frank Caslin from Baltimore, MD.

He ran a 350 and painted the hull white, he later sold it about 3 years later to some one from MD. It would be nice to know what happened to her… **webmaster contacted Frank twice and still waiting for a return call.
