I was pleased to see some of the Division 4 skiff racers there actively running the show. Jimmy Stewart of "Goin Skiffin Crazy" (and family) Jimmy's crew "Cowboy" & Lila. Paul Sohn of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" (who I gave his first skiff ride to) and family. Robert Presley of "Kentucky Blue" to name a few. I was impressed with the enthusiasm from our racing brothers. They had no problem riding with us and said after riding in a cage, they don't know how we stay in the boat! Bruce proved that by throwing Robert Presley out in the above clip! All in all, they were as excited as we were to see the skiffs.  I was there as a spectator getting started late from Florida and too late to make the meeting and get the Puppy ready to run. Hopefully we can make it a stop on the Southern boys schedule and get 15 or 20 skiffs up there in the future. This just might be the event to get the Jersey skiffs out of the garage and on the water!!!

Another surprise was to finally meet Steve and John Drucker (from Jersey) with "Thunderchief". John made comment it was great to look over at the boat next to him and see a smile. Steve and John raced Thunderchief in the late 90's and retired her to brother Steve's garage. Hopefully we will see more of Thunderchief.

Heard rumor this could be an alternating event with Cambridge! We'll keep you posted...
