My dad and I have formed a new company called Composite Technologies Inc.   Currently the molds and boats are at my shop in Ft. Myers Florida which is on the west coast about an 1 hour below Sarasota.  At the moment we're getting ready to build another skiff.   We are both working on building the boats, my father has been at this since him and his friend bought their first skiff from Bender in 1970.  I moved to Florida about 3 yrs ago, built a 2500 sq. foot shop and started working on his only remaining skiff that he owned. That boat is currently painted and waiting for the motor to be installed and is up for sale. George, my dad, helped build the A&L skiff mold @ Oscar's shop in Marcus Hook, Pa.

We've got a new mold and also a totally new deck design, plus we still have the original style deck. The pictures here are from the new mold set. The boat is designed with a flat deck, rounded bull nose edge all the way around, NO RUB RAIL, the effect is awesome.  This boat alone has been in the works for over 8 months, but is like no other skiff I've ever seen.

My father still lives in Philadelphia but comes down here a few months at time to work on the boats. He's been around the FRP industry for years so his knowledge of fiberglass work is one of our strong points. Hopefully the new boat will be race ready by years end, if not sooner.  We might make Cypress Gardens if all goes well.
