History:  I've been told  that this boat was originally built for Bobby Davis of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and named ORANGE CRUSH, JS-69.  It was later sold to Steve Langsenkamp, also of south Florida and re-named STEELER.  They raced it a number of times, when another boat was needed to make up a starting field, but never very seriously.  My son bought it in about 1992, named it RUNAMUCK and tortured it up and down the river until the engine finally broke.  The boat sat, was cannibalized, neglected and passed around until I bought it in 2001.  It now has a rehabilitated small block and a Velvet Drive.
