History

(The following information is a result of an interview with Tom Donley Jr. and Jeanine Swift on October 20, 2002.)

I purchased this boat in 1980 from John Clark in New Jersey.  John had called the boat 'Fast Buck' because he went through a lot of money building it.

In 1985, I sold her to two brothers in Michigan, who have not changed anything on the exterior of the boat, or the name.  They installed a 358 cubic in NASCAR motor with a dry sump system.  Currently it is now running the kilos at 90 m.p.h.

One of the memories I have with this boat was at the Divisionals in 1983 in Cambridge, MD.  I dove into a turn a took a piece from the left side front cockpit.  We quickly repaired the hole with 100 m.p.h. tape (duck tape) and completed the rest of the races that weekend.
