I believe this boat was the last of the first generation Barron skiffs.  This boat doesn't have a step side but was modified in the mold to achieve the same result as the step side.  I believe the boat was named Brut Force at one time.  It was inspected back in 1987 to race APBA in Region 4.
  

The boat has gone through a few owners all of which I'm not too sure who they are.  I believe back in the late 80s the boat was owned by Ken Germershausen, builder of Barron skiffs, who used it as a river boat.

I have owned the boat for a few years.  When I originally purchased the boat I never put it in the water until I completely restored it.  For the most part the boat has all its original hardware.  The boat was completely stripped and painted on the exterior with imron and the interior with awlgrip. The engine has been rebuilt. I use the boat as a river boat with no intentions of racing it.
